The Triple K magazine fits the magazine well of my Model 830 snugly. It would initially not accept more than 5 rounds. The cartridges would also not always feed in at the correct angle. I put a little gun oil in the magazine and worked the spring up and down. I eventually got the rounds to chamber reasonably well. It didn't seem to handle 10 rounds very good and I ended up using 8 in it. My rifle is 60 years old so all in all the magazine works as advertised. I do think my original 7 shot magazine feeds a little more reliable. Time will tell on this.

I bought this magazine for a circa year 1920 Colt "1908" .25 that I was given as a gift from an estate. The original magazine that can with the pistol can be a little troublesome in feeding rounds. This one, while blued rather than nickel like the pistol, works better. It loads very easily. I'm thinking the magazine spring is better. Anyway a good product if a bit pricey. I would recommend it if you are looking for a second mag for one of these old Colts.

Triple K Magazines, Colt Vest Pocket Prewar .25 ACP Blued Steel 6 Round Magazine Mag Triple K - 15M Seller = 1911mags Let's be clear... this is a reproduction magazine. It is not constructed to the tolerances of an original Colt magazine, and isn't quality tested like an OEM. That said... this is a pretty darn good reproduction magazine for the 1908 .25 cal hammerless Colt vest pocket automatic. Price is not great, but a whole lot less than the cost of an original magazine. These new reproductions are also not going to fit in a vintage gun exactly like your old, well-worn original magazine(s). My only problem with the magazine was when I first put it into the gun... it wouldn't come back out... stuck tight. When I finally muscled it out, I saw wear marks at the top of the magazine where it was rubbing against something in the lower receiver. So I coated the top of the magazine with GunSlick, and then repeatedly pushed it in and out of the gun until it finally inserted and released without getting stuck. I also depressed the feed plate, and applied GunSlick with a cotton swab to the inside surfaces of the magazine. Then I loaded in 6 rounds, and made sure they smoothly ejected by thumb. After that, I reloaded the magazine and confirmed that I could rack all 6 rounds through the gun without any hangups. And finally, I cleaned out the chamber and lower receiver and did a 6 round test fire. The magazine worked flawlessly. I'm happy... I now have a reliable second 6-round magazine to carry with my vintage deep-conceal weapon. Read full review

So far it has functioned just like the original in our New Haven model 250a. No issues so far with about 50 rounds run through it. Nice having the extra capacity.
