Set your own combination = less keys
The construction & quality of the Master Lock trigger lock is what I expect from Master Lock- excellent . The user set combination allows no key access (no key to loose) & no more finding which key is for which lock; just do not forget the combination. The end user is the one only one that can determine if this lock is appropriate/safe for their intended use/application. Does what its supposed to
Nice and solid just on the chunky side. If youre going to use the factory case your gun came in it would not shut close but other than that its perfect, locks nice and snug on the trigger guard

While this item may prevent the pull of the trigger, it will not the firing of the weapon. A magazine can still be inserted. A round can still be loaded in the chamber, and the barrel can still be pulled back and shot forward to fire that round. Very unsafe. Hence the reason why you warned not to leave the weapon loaded. A lock that will never fail
This is my 3rd Master Lock trigger lock and there is a reason why The lock fits and has a good heft to it. The lever is also good steel that doesn't feel like it's going to break in an emergency
