First, I will state that these are quality and very secure. Not like many if the hokey methods, like those used on Noveske keymod covers that are problematic in multiple manners! The base cover section fits very nicely, and is pleasantly tactile in engagement to gloved or bare hands! The center section adds a VERY positive level of security, to ensure, and maintain, the cover as it endures a LOT of impact, while employed! The center sections do take some pressure to push in! I recommend a small flat piece of any material, that will provide even pressure during the process. A quick hammer smack on to that device, will properly seat the "plug", and minimize awkward application! The center WILL divide evenly, as it is scored for both male ends to be used individually if desired. I found out how easily the pieces come apart, when I applied uneven pressure, and they sections did seperate. Which is NO problem, just be aware! Hence recommending a small block of wood, or other, to complete action with direct, even, pressure. Plus, you do not want to damage the texture that provides a nice stippling of sorts! Recommend! I am VERY happy with use on my first M-LOK version handguard! In my large collection, and experience with so many other products, I have used, and appreciate, the Strike Industries covers! I used that version for my Magpul 700 stock to add some indicators up front! They are a good product, though these have greater surface and a super secure attachment! In consideration to the Super Slim handguard used on this build, a bit more coverage, to minimize heat/gas where I handle the foward end of the rifle. These WILL DO VERY NICELY in the use which I intended them for! I feel that many will find these extremely useful and very good for the need that they fulfill! As with any choice, consider size, coverage, weight and quantity to assist you in narrowing your purchase decision! I always appreciate views that provide different aspects for consideration! I truly hope this will assist while others seek accessories!Read full review

So simple, and useful. Snaps into place on your rifle's rails and makes gripping them much more comfortable. Weighs almost nothing, and plenty of these segments come in the package so it should work with almost any weapon.

Fit perfectly, actually bought 2 packs, had several left over due to adding a few other accessories as well. Seem to be made well, they look great! Would definitely recommend!

Another great Magpul product! Researched a lot of rail covers for my M-Lok free float hand guard and decided on these due to Magpul's reputation and my application requirements. If you have a free float hand guard with actual m-lok dimensions, then these are very easy to install, fit very snug, have a great feel to them and look outstanding! They are also easy to remove when necessary. I've fired a few hundred rounds with them on and they haven't moved or rattled. I have absolutely no complaints with these rail covers. I gave them four stars because I can't attest to the longevity of the covers yet, but so far, I'm very happy with this product!

These are great. Hard plastic, but the texture makes up for it. You push in the base peice, then snap in the textured panel on top which expand the base and locks everything into the rail, making it look like one solid piece. If you want to move it, pry up the top peice then gently pry up the base and move it. The one set was enough to put a small row section on each side of where I grip. I thought I would need more, but actually the kit was perfect for my needs.
