Cleaner than clean, trash to treasure.
I purchased JB bore shine as a last Ditch effort to bring an old black powder rifle barrel back to life, I purchased a used B.P. rifle and purchased someone elses years of neglect and inproper cleaning of the bore properly, after mutiple cleanings with other products, I finally got it clean but not shiney and as smooth as it should be. I must have used close to 300 patches and 6 days of hard elbow grease to get it to that point, I finally received my JB bore cleaner, I ran it down the bore with patch over brass brush made at least 10 strokes up and back then patched it clean, after 20 repetitions it actually started to shine up, I will shoot it and continue to use this product after each shooting session till I feel it has a semi factory shine like it should. If it weren't for this product ... J-B bore cleaner
Been using this stuff for years- not cheap any more, but does a great job of ridding one's bore from fouling. Wrap a patch around a brush, dip it in the solvent, then run it through the bore and it will remove copper fouling, powder residue and all the nasty stuff that a bore collects. Follow up with some Hoppe's in the same way, you'll have a clean bore.

There's nothing that does what the JB Bore products do.Almost a must use for accuracy competitors. Great for removing years of copper fouling from surplus barrels too. A little goes a long way; I've been using this for decades and this is only the third jar I've bought.
