Great grips, easy installation
These are great grips, I took my gun (a .357 Taurus)out recently and these grips really spread out the recoil. The grips made a huge difference, making the little pistol a pleasure to shoot. The installation took about 10 minutes. Great quality, and comfortable!

Hogue Pistol Grip for Small Frame Taurus Revolvers, 85, 94, 941
I tried these grips on the 3 revolvers listed in the title and found them leaving something to be desired. The fit of the grips along the back strap leave an annoying ridge that is awkward in the palm of your hand. Since the grip is tightened to the frame from the bottom it leaves the upper portion of the grip "spongy" with the fit. While the product is very well made from the material aspect I do not care for the actual handling revolver with these grips. I would not buy these again nor recommend them to a friend. I tried these grips on the 3 revolvers listed in the title and found them leaving something to be desired. Very good with one reservation
This is a very comfortable grip with a single exception, the grip does not cover the back strap on a Taurus 605. On a .357 magnum, this would really be a great feature to help absorb recoil. However such grips do not appear to exist making this one the best available.

Nice grip for Taurus 85
Easy grip to install and gave a much more level point of aim over the stock Taurus 85 grip. Allows for a full purchase on the gun which reduced muzzle-flip and improved my accuracy.. With the stock grip, there was considerably more muzzle-flip and it took longer to reacquire the target. I would have rated 5 stars, but the grip is still too wide to accommodate my speed loader. I had to remove a fair amount of grip material for my speed loader (HKS) to work quickly and properly.Easy grip to install and gave a much more level point of aim over the stock Taurus 85 grip. Installation Problem!
The included instructions DO NOT tell you that you have to remove the original retention pin at the bottom of the grip frame...nor do the instructions even show their shorter pin in the parts diagram. I contacted Hogue on August 7, 2019 and told them of this...they apologized...said would notify their tech dept. for a change to their instructions. After changing out the pin the grip slid on easily with a good tight fit. I only learned of this problem after reading a previous review...so thank you! Other than that...all is well in my 605 world! ...hope they change their instructions as they said!The included instructions DO NOT tell you that you have to remove the original retention pin at the bottom of the grip frame...nor do the instructions even show their shorter pin in the parts diagram.
