Excellent Colt 1911 magazines that are almost impossible to find in your local gun store. These are the real deal folks! There are others who are selling “Colt” magazines that do not have the official Rampant Colt stamp and the quality and finish are not anywhere near Colt factory standards. These come in official Colt packaging too. They’re more expensive but you are paying for Colt quality. Who do you trust your life to? Colt or some cheap foreign knock-off? 5 stars all the way!

These OEM magazines exactly match the 7-round originals that came with my Colt Government M1911A1 80 Series SS. I am thrilled that the stamped letters & numbers on the bottom & sides match my originals that are several years old. I am very satisfied with the fit & operation of these Colt brand products. I highly recommend these magazines.

Nothing beats factory production!
I've tried many brands of surplus and other manufactured magazines. After all, Colt 1911s and clones have been around over 100 years. BUT; experience is a cruel teacher, many of the brands I tried failed in some way. These factory OEM Colt 1911 .45acp magazines work perfectly in my firearm. No failed feeds, no failed extractions, snug fit in the mag well. The 7 - round magazines are also more reliable, functioning flawlessly even in the more modern 8-round designed 1911's. I have experienced 7 & 8 rounders that won't fit or function correctly in anything but the specific firearms they are supplied with. So no more variants - I'll stick with factory OEM's that work in all variants regardless of brand. Pricing is equally fair; no higher or lower than averages of catalog, store, & online ... The mag springs are a little tight, but I expect them to loosen over time. They work great and look spectacular in my Colt 1911 Government Model
