    Ehh 🤷🏻‍♂️

Doesn’t show signs of impact between frame slide or barrel Makes installing guide rod a little be tougher, not hard, just tougher Is never located in the same spot when field stripped after use Might make more sense if your springs are worn, but I do regular maintenance unlike the military service weapons Overall, it doesn’t interfere with the gun, and doesn’t have and noticeable effects

Buffer......Good for 40S&W or 357Sig. Beretta 92 Not so much!!

Unless you are shooting a Beretta 96 (40S&W) or a Beretta 96 with a 357SIG barrel converted this is a waste of money. I've shot tens of thousands of factory (115gr. to 146gr.) rounds through my Beretta 9mm's and have never needed a buffer, I've never found any wear issues while inspecting/cleaning my Beretta's. Now if you are reloading extremely hot loads I would recommend the buffer just for piece of mind. I bought and run this buffer on my Beretta 96 - 357Sig conversion and it didn't last long, if this is your application buy extra's.

  • i was skeptical

I was skeptical of this recoil buffer but I do feel like it was a great value you can definitely tell that it helps reduce the metal on metal contact from the slide of the gun but have not yet had a chance to shoot the gun so I cannot speak for the fact that they claim that it will reduce the recoil. overall I would definitely recommend this product based on the fact alone that you can tell it helps with the slide of the gun you dont hear or feel the metal on metal slamming of the slide

  • Not for competitive shooters

The shok buff works as described but as a competition shooter, to release the slide upon magazine change, i have always used the weak hand to pull the slide back to release it into battery. The shok buff prevents you from releasing the slide this way, you must use the strong hand thunb to drop the slide. Not a problem, just a difference in the way i had to operate the weapon.

  • Useful Addition

I've used these on a 92fs and a 90-Two previously, so I know their value. This one went into a Taurus 92AF and works like a champ. Look: if you shoot two boxes of ammo a year, you don't need this product. However, if you plan to take a 92 of any kind to a school where you're going to go through 800-1000 rounds, it's cheap insurance for the long service life of your alloy frame.
