The instillation direction, especially in regards to the use of the shims and what they actually do is vague to nonexistent. The rest of the instillation instructions were good. The resulting trigger pull weight was as advertised at 2.5 lbs.. But has excessive take up but with a glass rod type brake. For the price it is well worth it!! Great trigger feel
I’m a gun guy, but not a gun snob. Compared to the oem Ruger trigger, this kit is awesome. The kit seems well engineered and is very easy to install- even comes with written instructions. My factory trigger pull was between 6-7 lbs per my Lyman scale. Now, it breaks right at 2.2 lbs. This is a kit I should have bought years ago. I’m sure there are more expensive triggers out there that may feel even better than this one, but I will say there is absolutely nothing wrong with this kit. Perfect for a target gun that is also used for hunting.I’m a gun guy, but not a gun snob. Compared to the oem Ruger trigger, this kit is awesome. Excellent upgrade.
Excellent trigger upgrade for a Ruger PC Charger or Carbine. The trigger and hammer (with shims) are drop in replacements. I did reuse the factory springs. 100% reliable with all ammo I've tried. Running the kit in a Charger, also did an install or the hammer and shim kit with a Tandemkross on a PC Carbine. Much smoother and lighter trigger in both guns,
