Added an easy to use safety to the Mosin Nagant rifle. Anyone that's knows about this rifle knows what the stock safety is like. And safer is always a good thing. Trigger pull is 100% better with this set-up. Mosin's are known for sloppy triggers. You can do a little work to make them better, but it will never be as good as this trigger set-up. Thumbs up. Excellent trigger with good instructions. Even with the instructions, the ... Excellent trigger with good instructions. Even with the instructions, the installation took a while trying to remove just the right amount of stock material to allow the new trigger to seat properly without going crazy with the dremel. Maybe I chose the wrong type of lipstick. I had tried all the trigger mods I could find for the M44 to no avail. The Timney did the trick. Well worth the cost.

Great Trigger
Debated adding this trigger since it costs a bit more than I was hoping but the ... Debated adding this trigger since it costs a bit more than I was hoping but the trigger pull on a Moisan trigger was too much of a pain in the can. I bought two Moisin's so I could have one upgraded and keep one historic; one had a perfect barrel (inside and out) and the other one had an external rusted but serviceable barrel. Added Arch Angel stock to the clean one and took it out to shoot. Without this trigger the pull was annoyingly long and hard so getting consistently on target was painful. Added this trigger and am able to shoot consistent groups plus it is more fun. Installation of the trigger was simple and it fit in the Arch Angel stock without any problem. Added safety was a nice but not required feature. Remember to set the "retaining/lock nut" on the set screw or your pull weight will drift..
