So far, so good. Although the magazine is of genuine Ruger production and of Ruger quality and operates well, it does not seem to fit as tightly in the LCP as the 6 round magazine. It wobbles around a little. Not a real issue, but just an observation. As others have sighted, it lends absolutely nothing to improving the grip on the tiny LCP. As far as operation goes, as I noted, so far, so good. It does hold the seven rounds without any significant noticeable difficulty in loading. It also feeds well with round nose ammo for the first 21 rounds I have put through the LCP. As most LCP owners seem to notice, the LCP isn't the friendliest mini gun to use at the range for any significant practice firing. Ouch!!! For a pocket carry scenario, it is nice to have the extra round with no impact on the size and comfort of the LCP. I would recommend adding this LCP accessory to my friends. Read full review

I had hoped the extra round would equate to a longer magazine. It might, but only by a few millimeters. Your pinky will likely still dangle. If you're looking for a longer grip, you're better off buying the magazine baseplate extensions. I don't think a single, extra round is worth the extra $6-8 dollars either when compared to the standard 6-rd magazine. If you're looking for extra capacity for range practice, the 10 round magazine may be a better choice. The biggest perk to this mag is that you do get the extra round, the profile is virtually identical, and the pistol will still likely fit in any holsters you may have already because the mag does not impact the size in any appreciable difference.

I was looking for a longer 6- or 7-cartridge magazine which would give me more support at the 'pinky finger' level for my small Ruger LCP pistol. When looking at the picture of this 7-cartridge magazine, it appeared to be longer than the 6-cartridge magazine. Actually, both magazines are exactly the same length. I was disappointed at that aspect because of the cost involved. Nonetheless, it does give me a 7-shot capacity, without having one loaded in the chamber, which I do not wish to do. So, it clearly is a magazine of utility, but doesn't serve the real purpose for which I bought it. I don't mean to break hearts with this review, but I was asked to offer it, and I prefer to be honest about it all.

So far the product has worked as expected. Although it adds an extra round, the biggest benefit in my mind is the slight extension in length that is created when inserting the magazine into the weapon. I do not have large hands, probably "medium," but my ring finger hangs off the grip with the standard 6-shot magazine. This one allows me to get all of my fingers onto the grip with the exception of my little finger, and yet, it does not increase the size such that the weapon becomes too large or bulky. I recommend this product.

These are a must have for anyone owning a Ruger LCP. I bought a couple of these and they are high quality and work great while adding an additional round and a little more pinky finger grip for me with small hands for many of you it will not be enough to get your pinky on the grip but that is no big deal. When you get these they don't show 7 on the actual magazine and will show 6 on the magazine but 7 really does fit without any problem at all. It is also easy to load the last round. I've put about 150 rounds through these and they work perfectly. I highly recommend these!
