Bought this for my AR15 and has made the work so much easier. Just need to remember to use a regular hammer when driving the steel punches. (dented my braas hammer on the steel punches.). Really happy with the quality of this tool set.

The brass hammer is tiny, meant for tapping, some gun, weapon, rifle, pistol pins and parts require more than a light tap which is all that this hammer can do. Yes, you don't want to smash a brass punch with force but gently tapping often doesn't work for many weapon parts. Now, having said the above, this set worked well when working on parts of an old, 34 years old, Kalashnikov whose pins and parts are well worn BUT one doesn't want to do any potential damage to this piece of history. So, this set has it it's place, just not many for me.

I'm not a fan of tools that are made in China, but i've looks this set over and it looks well made to me. It has a very nice molded case that holds everything in place. There's even enough space inside to hold my roll pin starter tools. So all the tools I use together, stay together.

I purchased this set of punches to install a set of sights on a pistol, not too touch of a job. I used five of the brass punches, and all five are ruined. Four of the punches bent, and all five had their face deformed and ruined. Half of the brass punches are ruined and not usable, after using them one time. Next time I'll spend a little more, and get better quality, and I recommend the same for any potential buyer.

Really great package I was having issues with my sights not being aligned and I took it to the range and was easily able to drift the sights in seconds with the brass punches and the hammer is great it's not cheap it packs enough punch to move sights no doubt! Great product
