Part got here fast! Good quality and price, but the rod is roughly 3” too long. I made sure to double check the description before buying. I will attempt to shorten the tube and re-crimp the end. I may just buy a different one if I fail.

My listing description and pictures implore buyers to measure before ordering. Marlin made several variations of their model 60 and I do not have the shorter tubes. The full length tube can be shortened and I can provide detailed instructions.

Nice piece
I tried a couple of other replacement rods from the big name gun parts supply houses and they did not work well. What caused me to try this one is the metal tip that pushes the bullets. Being metal it should be more durable than the plastic ones. Also , because it is not pointed like the others it does not suffer the jamming issues internally like the others. It's a good piece that fits and works well. The only thumb-down thing is the retaining pin on the knurled end as mentioned in another review is too short and does not lock the rod into the slot well at all. My solution was to simply tap it out from the other side a few thousands so that it protruded far enough to properly engage the slot in the magazine tube, but with enough of the pin remaining in the tube that the knob is still ... It came looking great. the gray metal plunger foot isn't as easy to see as the orange platinum I'm accustomed to, But I like metal. The one problem was the pin that holds the whole tube inside the outer tube: it was loose. it slid through, both directions. It wouldn't hold the inner feed tube in place because it wouldn't remain in place; It slid back into its hole... ....but the fix was easy, but only because I have access to a functional small metal shop. a tiny punch-pin made a tiny crater with raised edges, in the side of the pin. these raised edges are now holding the pin securely in place, and I have no doubt that I will get plenty of years of use out of the feed.It came looking great. the gray metal plunger foot isn't as easy to see as the orange platinum I'm accustomed to, But I like metal. Great replacement
My Model 60 is my favorite 22 cal rifle, but having been manufactured in 1986, it was in need of just a bit of TLC. I bought this inner mag tube to replace the old factory tube with a broken follower. The main reason I chose this one is because the follower is not plastic, and therefore should hold up indefinitely. The fit, finish, and function is perfect. I did knock the pin that holds the cap on the tube out just ever so slightly so it would engage better with my magazine tube, but this is to be expected with this type of part.My Model 60 is my favorite 22 cal rifle, but having been manufactured in 1986, it was in need of just a bit of TLC. It’s ok, but needed modifications upon receipt
The pin that is used to lock the inner magazine tube to the outer magazine tube was to short. So it did not lock into place. I had to push the pin almost through its seat in order to get the excess on the opposite side to stick out far enough for it to lock into place.
