I bought this on the recommendation of a cop who said he's jumped fences wearing one with a J frame revolver, no issues. I got this for my Sig P238, which is tiny and light. I just figured a leather one would be overkill. I'm happy to report it supports the gun very well WITHOUT the added ankle strap. I wear this over the outside of a high top boot most days, but it's also just as comfortable over a sock when I'm wearing dress shoes. If your gun is small and light, this is more than enough.

I have tried ankle holsters in the past, but i don't believe any compare to this one. It is very well made and super comfortable for my Kel Tec P3AT that i carry all day, every day. I have worn it with high socks, as well as with ankle and no-show socks and find it extremely comfy! I would highly recommend this product to anyone. The only downside is the thumb break in the back that goes against your leg. I took a piece of fine sandpaper to it and it no longer bothers me. Upside -- it is cheaper than many others and worth purchasing.

Fits the S&W Bodyguard 380 and the Ruger LCP II .22lr. Love the lambskin. I wish Desantis would make the attachment to the ankle holster (a separate attachment) should be sheepskin lined too.

This is the third DeSantis Apache ankle rig I have purchased, for three different size handguns. The first Ione has been in constant use for over 10 years, and is still in great shape. The holster is comfortable, easy to adjust, and holds your weapon securely. I would recommend highly to anyone.
