I have received three pairs of grips for three SDS 1911 Govt. 45-s. Two pairs are much darker than the grips on the picture, actually dark brown. The third pair is closer to black. Whatever you sell must correspond in all aspects to the pictures of your offering. I am not satisfied at all. I hope that I can return them and receive the grips as pictured. These grips are extremely attractive, very well made and fit well also. The only minor shortcoming I find is that they present such a smooth and polished surface, that getting and keeping a high and tight grip on my pistol is very difficult and challenging. I'm looking to possible find some attractive self-stick tape with a rough surface to apply for better GRIP for finger area. None of this is an issue if you use them on pistols primarily for display.

These grips make my gun look old school. I bought it used with some black grips that blended with the finish so well you couldn't see them. These wood grips give a nice contrast and a classic G.I. Joe look. Great value for the price!!
