I ordered 4 of these boxes n at first i was skeptic of the quality but i saod hey it is was it is . but let me tell u once i got it i was happy i purchased the 4 boxes . the boxes are a real good soze where u can fot ALOOOT of ammo in it it has 3 holes so u can put 3 locks on it i got a small lock in the middle and u cannot open the box what so ever . the quality of the box is very strong n sturdy i feel like i can stand on the box ( with my weight being 185lbs ) and i feel like the box wouldnt even make a noise never mind crack or break . definately a good choice in purchasing it i will be buyin more soon

I like to use ammo cans like this to build battery boxes. Since it's plastic as opposed to metal there's less chance of shorts. I had to buy it off of eBay as Amazon has a scam running now where they will only sell certain products to Prime members and, even though I had purchased one from them earlier in the year, this can ended up on that list. So I bought it here for a cheaper price!

I use these ammo cans for mixed boxes of ammo and gear. They are big without being too big. The latches hold amazingly well and the carry handle is comfortable even when the box is loaded full with loose 9mm or 45ACP ammo. Not lightweight when loaded full with loose 9mm or 45 ACP, but manageable.
