Perfect fit and finish for my Kimber
I had originally purchased the mainspring with the magwell made by the same company; decided I didn't like it as much as I'd hoped, and then ordered this chain link mainspring housing instead. Perfect fit and finish for my old Kimber Classic Custom. (government size) Adds just a little style to the frame, and the perfect amount of texture for grip-ability. Saw the last review where the MSH matched the Kimber Raptor, so ordered one for my Raptor II...and it matched the blued black frame 100%. Quality is great and the chain link design now matches the rest of the Raptor serrations, and didn't need any special fitting to install. I was looking at Ed Brown and Wilson Combat MSH at doulble the price, and some of the reviews said some fitting was required to install. Perfect and looks great.
Fit my Springfield MC Operator perfect. I wanted something that looked better and had more of an aggressive texture, this does it. I would recommend if you are replacing the MSH on a Springfield 1911 with the ILS (internal locking system) to also order a new MSH spring kit.
